We understand that the decision to give up your dog can be very difficult and painful. Sometimes behavioural issues can be at the root of difficulties and we can offer advice or guidance.

If or when the decision to rehome has been reached then please be assured that your dog will go to a vetted forever home where they will be safe and loved.

We have homes waiting but be assured that we check suitability for each individual dog.

If you would like to offer a Welsh Springer a home please contact us to discuss this. We will send you detailed vetting questionnaire and visit you at home prior to any potential placement. We will also do post placement checks. We retain ownership registration of the dogs for their lifetime.

Welsh Springer Spaniel Rescue (WSSR) is a non-profit organisation and a charity recognised by the Charity Commission (Charity no 1182911), for the rehoming of Welsh Springers. On placement of a Welsh Springer we do invite the new vetted owners to contribute a suitable donation to help the charity to continue to cover the costs of placing Welsh Springers in new loving homes.
